In 1992,there was a show that was a medieval-themed version of "American Gladiators" that debuted on television sets across America. The show was called "Knights & Warriors". There was the Lord Of Rules & Discipline (L.O.R.D.) who makes rulings, decisions and oversees the battles that pits contenders aka "knights" vs Gladiator-type athletes aka "warriors". In this show ,the Warriors were booed as they are the "bad guys" and the knights are obviously the "good guys". They battled in events like Catapult, Battle Swords, Sorcerer's Wheel, Volcano, The Pit, Roller Joust, Tug-O-Warriors, and the final event, Target Onslaught. The idea is to have the most points at the end of the show and whichever team, either the Purple or Gold Knights, does score the most points wins! Well, I loved this show, too bad it only lasted 2 seasons, I wish they brought this show back like "American Gladiators" did back in 2008! Here are the Warriors the Knights had to do battle against:
"The biggest chip off the Rock Of Gibraltar, LADY BATTLEAXE!"
"And a truly dangerous snake in the grass, VENOM!"
These next 3 Warriors were alternates in the second season:
And they also had another Male Alternate Warrior: Vandal.
My favorite Warriors are both female Warriors because they are so freakin' HOT: Steel Maiden & Princess Malice!
I bet if this show makes a comeback, I guarantee you that this show could be taken to the next level! I hope they bring it back!
Remember this show! Remember the Knights & WARRRRRRRIORS!!!!
